I am such a failed blogger. Life has been a whirlwind of activity and excitement, full of so many blessings!
November 4, Alex asked me to be his wife after a romantic dinner and a walk through the park. I accepted his proposal, and we are currently in the midst of wedding plans. Today's planning includes addressing save-the-dates and planning our rehearsal dinner with his family. My gown has been purchased, the church & reception venue are booked, Creative Cakes is booked, and bridesmaids have ordered their dresses. :) It's getting exciting! Even more exciting than the upcoming wedding is the upcoming marriage. God is really shaping our hearts and lives right now to merge together as one. We are learning what it means to sometimes disagree and how to resolve it appropriately and respectfully. On the other side of things, we have a LOT to learn, too. :)
Andrew made it home safely from his deployment in Afghanistan, praise the Lord! He is home with us for another week, enjoying seeing his friends and family. Tonight, he opened his CHRISTMAS presents from the family. Christmas in February. He claims presents anytime are welcomed.
In approximately two months, I will begin the application/interview process once again. After learning to teach and growing as a Kindergarten teacher for the past (almost) three years, I will have to move on to a new town, as Alex will be accepting a one-day job as either a school administrator OR teacher in the Oxford area. I have mixed feelings about this. I have days where I cannot wait to begin the next season in my profesional life, and there are days where I struggle with leaving the coworkers and friends I've made in this town.
Last year, I blogged that 2011 had BIG changes in store. I was right. There were very big changes, but those changes are so minute compared to 2012's changes. :)

Marriage is such a blessing especially when it is between two people who love Jesus! Congrats! I also understand your plight in searching for jobs once again, but know that God will lead you where need to go.
